Tool calls
Review every tool call your assistant made, across all channels, with filters and full details.
Each time your assistant does something on a customer's behalf, it uses a tool. Tool calls is the audit log of those calls. Use it to see what the assistant did, how long it took, and where it failed.
What you see
- Filters in the top left: a tool list, a channel list and an Errors only checkbox.
- Range picker in the top right: 24h, 7d or 30d. The default is 7 days.
- The table, newest first, 50 calls per page. Columns:
- Tool: the tool's name. Failed calls are marked as errors.
- Detail: a short description of what the call did.
- Intent: what the customer was asking for.
- Channel: where the conversation took place.
- Latency: how long the call took.
- When.
- Page links under the table: Older → to see earlier calls and ← Newest to go back to the start.
How to filter tool calls
- Pick a tool from All tools to see only that tool. The list shows the tools used in the selected range.
- Pick a channel from All channels: MCP, Embed, Drawer or Extension.
- Tick Errors only to see only failed calls.
- Click Clear to remove all filters.
Changing a filter takes you back to the newest calls.
How to see the full details of a call
- Click a row in the table.
- A drawer opens with the tool name, the exact time and an error tag if it failed.
- It lists the fields that apply: Channel, Intent, Detail, Summary, Reply, Match tier, Latency and a Result preview.
- If the call belongs to a conversation, click Open in Live sessions → to see the whole conversation.
Good to know
- The audit keeps the names of a tool's inputs, never their values. So a tool call record never holds what a customer typed into a tool.
- If nothing matches your filters, the page tells you. Clear the filters or pick a wider range.
- At the end of the list you see either the number of calls in the range or End of range.
